Private Hire Drivers: English Test for Transport of London (TfL) / ISE I (B1) Exam
Prior to applying for licence, all applicants must fulfil English test requirement. If evidence of passing English test will not be submitted along with the application, then licence will not be issued to the applicant.
The English Test requirement for private hire drivers is to pass English Test at the Common European Framework Reference of Languages ("CEFR") B1 Level in all the four modules i.e. in Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking. What is in the exam?
ISE I (B1) Exam consists of two exam modules:
